I took him in this morning and hopefully I can pick him up later today. Poor little guy.
The vet was doing his pre-op and had a work experience student in the room. He was listening to Tabasco's heart and told her to listen as it's a nervous cat's heart. Oh, reallyTabasco has a protruding sternum and he said that's a deformity of the Siamese breed (emphasis on deformity). I just said well, if that's the worst deformity he's got, I'm happy ... think I need a new vet.
I hope he will be OK.
They grow up far too quickly.

Prayers are on the way for a speedy recovery.
I set up a little recuperation room where the computer is and he's having a nap by my side
You would think they'd be a bit more sensitive knowing you are right there and it's your baby they're talking about - sheesh.
