I don't hear about Cocker Spaniels much on here! Does anyone have one? I love them, they are so cute.

When I lived with my parents we had two cocker spaniels. Both were very friendly and lovable. Chase he was a older dog when we got him he was about 4 or 5 years old. He was a great dog. He had one problem though he use to chew on rocks all the time. He became blind in one eye about a couple years after we got him and became hard of hearing. Sadly one of our neighbors ran over him. He died instantly. Back then my mom and dad didn't believe in having dogs in the house. Things have really changed since then they have 2 inside but they still have one they keep outside.

The other cocker spaniel we had was Freddy he was a very lovable boy but he had lots of ear problems. They never could get rid of his ear effections. He also didn't liked to be groomed. We had to have 2 people to just give him a bath. Sadly he died last summer.

My grandparents that live across from me also had a cocker spaniel named Katie. She was the sweetest and smartest dog ever. She use to meet my brother and I after school at the porch. Sadly one day she was hit by the school bus and died. I hated it. I cried for a very long time over her. My dad had to burry her for my grandpa because it hurt him so bad. Katie was my grandpa's best friend. He loved her more then anything.

I have had SOOOO many cockers in my life, and they have all been so hard to train. We had to give them away because they would always pee & poo in the house, and eat EVERYTHING.

It was so groose. We had a cocker named Candy kisses she was a blond cocker we bred her and non of her pups survived becasue she killed them, except 2 pups, Pepper and Salt.

We sold Salt, she got hit by a car and died on impact. We kept Pepper but Gave him away after 5 years to a friend who gave him away to some ritch ppl.

We gave Candy Kisses away as well to ritch ppl
