Be still my heart! How lucky are we, having a beautiful Bloodhound boy as our featured honoree! We just don't see enough of your beloved breed here on Dog of the Day!

I'm smiling from the inside out, Tucker, reading your Mom's heartwarming tribute, poring over your utterly heart-melting photospread! Oh, what I wouldn't give to stroke your long, silky ears; curl up beside you smooshing my face into those soft, velvety foldies, a.k.a. wrinkles, hehe; covering you sweet face with slobbery smooches! That said, you're going to need a bigger rug, Tucker! But needing to be "air dried" apres spa day? lol What a goofer!

You truly are one beautiful boy, Tucker, beautiful inside and out; a gentle giant with a heart of gold! How lucky your family is, having a 4 legged family member in you! The joy, love and laughter you bring to your humans' lives is truly a priceless gift! The twins especially are in for a ton of fun over the months and years to come with you at their side; so blessed to grow up knowing the unconditional love and unwavering devotion of a big brother as gentle and patient, as loyal and loving, as special as you! It's clear from the big smile on your young skin sister's face, as you dutifully walk beside the stroller, that you've already stolen her heart! No surprise to hear how handily you win the hearts of all who cross your path, Tucker, and today you've won over mine as well!

He brings joy to our home and our entire neighborhood when we go on our family walks. We love to see the smile on everyone's faces.

Thanks for starting MY day off with a BIG smile, Tucker! Meeting you today, learning of the very special place you hold in your humans' hearts and they in yours has been such a treat! I hope you're treated to a very special Dog of the Day celebration, sweetheart...taking a leisurely walk the family, followed by a long nap; feasting on your fave foods; spending special time with the girls, receiving bunch of hugs and kisses; being loved and pampered to pieces! Dearest Tucker, what a terrific fellow you are indeed! You're an absolutely gorgeous Bloodhound with that sleek, colorful, wrinkly coat that looks so soft, and those long, LOOOOONG legs, and that sweet face with more wrinkles and lovely big beautiful brown eyes. You are so beautiful in those great photos, and thank you for sharing them with us. You're so cute with your adorable little twin sisters! You have the most delightful personality! You're a great big boy who loves to cuddle with your people. You find water fascinating, and you've been known to hop in the shower with them. And what a terrific big brother you are to your baby sisters! You bring joy to your home and your neighborhood on your family walks, making everyone who meets you smile. You and your whole family all love each other very much, don't you. What a wonderful love-filled home you share!

I smiled as I read about you and your family! You are a wonderful companion to your twin sisters! I imagine people smile all the time when they see you going for a walk with your family You are a busy fellow- taking a shower, napping on the kitchen rug, and even going for the occasional spa day! You aren't a fan of the blow drier, so you "air dry" which takes a little longer.
