Dearest Gemma, a.k.a., Baby Gemma Rose, what a darling of a doggie you are! You're the first Spinone Italiano I've ever met, and what a delightful introduction to the breed you are! You're so pretty in those great photos, and thank you for sharing them with us. That one of you looking over the roses is stunning!
Your Grand Person says you're "the perfect pandemic puppy!" You're just one year old, and you've already been on more trips and adventures with your people than most children your age. You've traveled around the country with your family, and then back home you learned to swim and became a paddle boarding pup and went on many boating trips on the river. You played hockey and went snowmobiling with your family during the winter. You enjoy teasing your dear parrot housemate Ozzie, and you've become great friends with the family turkeys! You've begun your hunting training, and you plan to become the best bird dog in the Midwest (all the way from Florida?!!). You all love each other very much, don't you. What a wonderful love-filled home you share!
Congratulations, darling Gemma, on being chosen Dog of the Day! We hope you and your dear people and Ozzie and turkeys and all your family and friends are enjoying a fine celebration, full of fun and lovies and all your favorite games and treats.

I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.
