Oh my! What a gorgeous Gloster Canary you are, Grammy! Love that fluffy, funky mop of hair, hehe, and your brilliant, sunshiny yellow plumage so beautifully echoes your equally bright and sunshiny personality! I had never before heard of your beautiful breed, so meeting you today has been such a treat!

I was so touched, Grammy, reading your human's love filled tribute, learning how you came to be named and the very special place you hold in your human's life! You do your beloved namesake, your human's Grammy, proud! She may no longer there with your human in body, but through you her legacy of love, and her love for canaries, lives on!

We heard canaries singing and my aunt said that my grandmother, who passed away near that time, loved canaries. I decided to have one in memory of my grandmother. And there she was: the adorable GRAMMY! The unusual canary with "hair!"

How blessed your human is, having a beautiful, joyful and songful, life loving feathered family member in you, Grammy! Who could resist any creature who craves sunshine and music, the dulcet sound of violins playing!

She LOVES sunshine, and always sings in the mornings. She likes classical music a lot, especially violins, however she hates rap music, I can tell. She makes her preference quite clear!

(I'm with you on the rap music, lol) You truly are a treasure, Grammy, beautiful in body and spirit, a joy!

Dearest Grammy, you are absolutely stunning! What a breathtakingly beautiful Gloster Canary you are with those colorful feathers and that sweet face with the lovely big eyes and that mop of "hair" on you head! And what a great story of how you and your family got together! Your dear person-to-be went to a pet shop and heard canaries singing. He/she decided to get one in memory of his/her dear recently-deceased grandmother. You and he/she chose each other, and you were named in grandmother's memory. You have such a delightful personality! You love sunshine and classical music, and you love to sing, especially when you hear your name. You also love to take baths! You and your person love each other very much, don't you.
