    Adorable Ducky!

Hi Ducky! Happy Pet of the Day to you, sweetheart!

What a breathtakingly beautiful Asia Water Monitor Lizard you are, Ducky! Your coloring and markings are gorgeous! I had never heard of your species before today, so meeting you today has been quite the treat! And being the utterly charming, darling, and delightful boy that you are, so perfectly named!

As your human says, your care may require a bit of extra "work," time and patience, but how well the effort it is, being rewarded with a best buddy as special as you!

It takes some work to keep him healthy and happy, we need to keep his habitat the right temperature, and the water clean, but it is worth it! We love him already.
How could your humans NOT help but fall in love! And by all accounts, you're well on your way to loving them back every bit as much!

It has taken a lot of time and patience, but he is making more progress every day at being more friendly. He is getting used to us as his people and socialized, and well on his way to being a really great part of our family.

More than a pet, or even a friend, you're a much loved family member, and how lucky your humans are, having you in their lives!

Thanks for the BIG smiles, Ducky! Meeting you today, seeing your gorgeous photos and reading your proud human's love filled tribute has been such a treat! I hope you enjoy a very special Pet of the Day celebration, Ducky...chowing down on some yummy ground turkey with a side of egg, hehe; relaxing in your habitat and spending special time with your humans; being loved and pampered to pieces!!! Lots of love to you, beautiful, adorable Ducky, our very special and most deserving Pet of the Day, EVERY day!!! And here's to many happy years of shared love and companionship for you and your family!

    SO beautiful! Those hands!

Dearest Ducky, you are adorable indeed! What a beautiful Asian Water Monitor you are! I've never met one of you before, so you are a terrific introduction to the species. You are just two months old, as far as your dear people, who received you as a hatchling, know. They are taking very good care of you, feeding you daily and keeping your habitat healthy and water clean. You are making great progress at becoming more friendly. You're getting used to them as your people and socialized, and you're well on your way to being a really great part of the family. It takes a lot of work to keep you healthy and happy, but you're worth it! You and they all love each other very much, don't you. What a wonderful love-filled home you share!

Congratulations, darling Ducky, on being chosen Pet of the Day! We hope you and your dear people and all your family and friends are enjoying a fine celebration, full of fun and lovies and all your favorite games and treats, with a special serving of ground turkey with eggs and egg shells in it!

I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
    Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.
