Dearest Idgie, what a beautiful, precious doggie you are! You have the sweetest face there, with those lovely big brown eyes looking straight at me. I wish I could rub the insides of your ears for you!

What a story you have to tell! You'd been left in a dirt road in the middle of nowhere. We're so glad a kind person found you and wound up leaving you in a box on your dear person-to-be's doorstep. Your new family welcomed you, and now you live peacefully and happily with your person, Louise, and honorary person, Michael, and Australian cattle dog Sydney, and black and white kitty Parker. You all love each other very much, don't you. What a wonderful love-filled home you share!

Good morning, Idgie! Congratulations on being crowned Dog of the Day, sweetheart!

What a wonderful way to start the day, seeing your beautiful, sweet face up on my Dog of the Day page! Those beautiful amber eyes of yours could melt the hardest and coldest of hearts!

I was so moved, reading your Mom Louise's heartwarming tribute to her gorgeous girl, learning how your tiny, 6 week old puppy self came to find your way home: left in a box left on her doorstep! My kind of special delivery! Well, they do say, sometimes the best things in life come when we least expect them, and you are living proof of that, Idgie!

Oh, how far you've come, from being found on that dirt road to living the good life, every doggie's dream life! Yes, you sure did hit the forever family jackpot that fateful day, Idgie, complete with two devoted humans in your Mom, Louise, and *honorary* human Michael, fur siblings in Sydney and Parker and best of all, all the love your heart can hold! But I would guess your Mom would say it is she who is the luckiest of all, having a fur daughter, a best friend, a loyal and loving companion in you; BEST DOG EVER! You truly are a treasure, Idgie, beautiful inside and out, simply the best!
