    Let's just say it's no great surprise. It's the wet heavy stuff. A semi has overturned on the main highway and parts of the highway are closed.

    A number of years ago we had local heavy snow on the August long weekend. THAT is unusual.

    This reminds me of my childhood in Germany. I grew up in the Bavarian Alps, and we got those late snows, too. I love snow, but after living here in North Carolina, I got used to the longer gardening season.

    That was almost us on the 27th as well it but it stopped pretty much as soon as it started so we didnt gain anything out of it
