    HELP please!?

    my cocker spaniel has bumps on his body... they are pretty big,
    too. Before he only had one, but now he has three and is getting
    more. we brought him to the vet but she said dont worry about
    it, but i am! should i go to another vet and get a second opinion
    or leave him be????

    Did she say what they are? If they are just cysts, it should be fine, do they seem to bother him at all?

    she didnt say what they are.... but u r probibly right. and they dont seem to bother him at all.................

    Could you describe the bumps? Are they under the skin our growing out of the skin?

    I work in grooming, and it's very common to see cockers with bumps. I've seen it many times with bumps like my older poodle, Smokey, has. They are pink and rather strange looking. The vet said it's nothing to worry about. I've seen more cocker spaniels with these bumps then any other type of dog.

    But, I obviously dont know what your dog's bumps look like. So if you think you should see another vet for a second opinion, it would probably be a good idea. If they are under the skin, and sort of squishy, it's probably a cyst.
