Dear Madison, what a handsome boy you were here on earth, and now a beautiful kitty angel at the Rainbow Bridge.
Your fluffy coat looks so soft, and your face with those long whiskers is so sweet.
I'm so glad that your life changed for the better when you were 6 years old. You finally found your forever home, with a wonderful and loving family.
Despite years of abuse and neglect, you kept your loving disposition, and you had this special gift to make everybody a cat person.
I am so very sorry that you had to leave your family after only ten years. They were precious years, full of love and laughter.
Your family will keep you in their hearts forever, and all this time you will be watching over them from the Rainbow Bridge.

Dear Madison~

What a big, beautiful, long haired earthly boy you were, Mattie, so much kitty to love, and more beautiful still, having earned your angel wings; your loving spirit now lighting up the heavens there at the Rainbow Bridge.

We are so thankful to your family for opening up their home and hearts to such a special boy, providing you with the happiest and most loving of homes after such a sad start at life. How blessed they were to have known your joyful antics, your love and devotion, your companionship those wonderful 10 years, though for we humans, no amount of years is time enough.

My heart breaks for your family, knowing the pain of no longer having you there by their side, sweetheart. For a pet parent, there is no greater pain than having to say goodbye...for now. But I hope knowing that one day you and they will be together again brings them some comfort. Until that happy day of reunion, send down your love to comfort them, Mattie. They miss you so very, very much.

To Mattie's family~Thank you for sharing your beautiful boy with us, some of your cherished memories and photos, giving us a chance to honor him here today. Dearest Madison, what a beautiful Angelic fellow you are! That long orange and white fur is so fluffy and looks so very soft, and what a sweet face you have with that cute pink nose and the white ear-tufts and the lovely big blue eyes. You are so handsome in both of those great photos, and thank you for sharing them with us. I wish I could reach through the screen and ...all the way to the Rainbow Bridge! ..to pet you. I can't, of course, but I know all the other Angels, especially my Poppy Angel, are petting you for me .

And what a lovely tribute your dear Purrrsons have written to you! You have the sweetest Purrrsonality, which you shared with them for ten years. They brought you Home from a bad situation, and you immediately became one of the family. You fit in Purrrfectly with your new brothers and sisters, and you made visitors feel welcome, settling on their laps when they sat down. You helped them become cat lovers if they hadn't been before! You made your dear Purrrsons smile with your funny habits, such as chewing on your front leg if you were scratched down your back, and chatting with them in your soft meow. You loved going outside with them on escorted visits into the backyard, but you were just as happy to be back indoors.

Sadly, you had a stroke at age sixteen from which you could not recover. Heartbroken, your dear Purrrsons said goodbye to you. My very deepest sympathy to them and to all who love and miss and grieve you. They miss you terribly but are so thankful for the years they were blessed to have with you. May their precious memories and keepsakes help to bring them comfort.

Now you are a glorious Angel, fully recovered, watching over them from the Rainbow Bridge. What great love you and they shared and always will! Please send some Angelic purrrs to their hearts to remind them that love is eternal, you are with them always, and you will welcome them Home, One Fine Day...

You made it a mission in your life to make non-cat people into cat lovers! and you succeeded! You were a marvelous, very loved companion in your family's lives and you will be missed terribly. You had many funny habits that made your family smile all the time!
