    strange habit

Does anyone else's cat(s) do this? Our Kunan, long haired off the street variety cat, licks the bathtub and the laundry baskets. And I don't mean the inside of the bathtub where there might be water but the outside...he's always been a little strange but he's mine And when he starts on the laundry baskets in the middle of the night it drives me crazy! Maybe he thinks that the way to get us to fold/put the laundry away immediately instead of letting it sit for a day....pushy little feline

    Licking

Gabe likes to lick my HP printer. .... He likes to chew on the antenna to the portable phone and the jet gizmo to my dental pic and the corner of my keyboard..... and Graemer likes to chew on a wrought iron plant hanger in the kitchen. Go figure.

Bastet licks my face and hair. She nips and nibbles my legs. She eats carpet ... if she can ... she has a penchance for exploring the bin and the laundry basket. Also anywhere dusty. I can always tell when she is in a place she isn't supposed to be because I hear her sneeze.

Fister is always licking the bathroom floor, his favouite passtime is to us have pouring water across it - even though he has several water bowls filled with clean water. He also likes to lick the prints coming out of the machine, preferably the expensive ones - but of course, we don't let him as they're surely poisonous.

I think it has something to do with plastics...I read somewhere that the "petroleum based" products sometimes attract cats, and that is why they chew on plastic bags sometimes...Ritz has an affinity for the corner of my laptop lid.

You know those fuzzy tank toppers that go on toilet tanks? I had a cat who would grab a mouthful of fuzzy, yank it out, and spit it on the floor. She didn't eat it, but I had a tank topper with a bald spot, and a pile of fuzzy on the floor. Then one day, I got sick of her doing it and took it off and tossed it. She never bothered anything else.

Boscibo this made me laugh out loud - Ritz has one of those carpeted lairs (actually she has three or four of them now)

But the very first one she has decided to dismantle carpet fiber by carpet fiber, in the same fashion, grab a tuft of it in her mouth and pull it out, then spit it on the floor. This particular one finally ended up looking like it had the mange - bald spots all over it and every day a new collection of "tufties" in a neat pile on the floor next to it.

It is now at the dump....she hasn't done this to any of her other perches

Nutmeg licks everything.. the bathtub, glasses with condensation on the sides, and most annoyingly - ME!! I hate it.. she licks my hands, arms, legs, face if I dont catch her on time.. I almost had her trained not to but them my mom came over and said "oh she can do it if she wants to me" and my boyfriend says the same thing.. GRR!! How will she ever learn!!

my boys love the bathtub after i get out.....love the water still left there,.....love the water still left in the kitchen/bathroom sink and would especially love to drink water out of my glass......even in the house now, i drink water out of a bottle.......it appears even though they drink the water in their dishes, all the "other" water out there is somehow even better
