    Aunt and Uncle's 60th Anniversary









    First half of pictures I took at my Aunt Wilhemina and Uncle Everette Wood's 60th Wedding Anniversary Thursday October 11th.First picture is a display my Cousin Ed's wife Evelyn set up down in the rec room,my Aunt and Uncle on their wedding day October 11th,1952,certificate of their achievement from Prime Minister Stephen Harper,marriage certificate,Aunt Wilhemina on her wedding day,Aunt's Baptism certificate,she and my Uncle were baptized on the same day April 16,1933 at different times in Orono,Ontario ,a small town northeast of Bowmanville,picture of the wedding party,my Aunt in front,back row from left is my Uncle's late brother Howard Wood,my Mom Betty who was 22 at the time,Dad was at home baby sitting Marlene who was only 8 months old at the time and my Uncle Everette Wood,family pictures from left my Cousin Ed as a young boy,picture of Ed,wife Evelyn,my Aunt and Uncle and Cousin Maurice Wood,Maurice as a young boy and one of my Aunt and Uncle from Mom and Dad's wedding day July 1,1950.We went over there for Chinese food,was a surprise to them,also there was Larry and Marlene,neighbors Clarence and Edna Devries,Cousin Ed and Wife Evelyn,their son Johnathan and wife Loretta,they are expecting their first child in January of 2013.

    Second half of the pictures.First one is of Ed and Evelyn kids as youngsters, from left Darren,he lives in Southwestern Ontario with girlfriend Jen and too far to come on a weeknight,sister Melissa who lives in Toronto,same reason and Johnathan and a certificate from Lieutenant Governor David Onley, certificate form the town of Clarington,certificates from Premier Dalton Mcguinty and our provincial member John O'Toole,neighbor Clarence Devries,Evelyn.Clarence's wife Edna and my Cousin Ed,Marlene packing food,my Aunt and Uncle watching,Evelyn holding the cake,they had half the cake at Thanksgiving,cutting the cake, their Grandson Johnathan at left and my Aunt cutting the cake again

    What a thoughtful and loving 60th Wedding Anniversary celebration. I'm sure they appreciated it so much and now there will be wonderful memories and photos. I enjoyed the photos very much!

    Congratulations to the happy couple. What a lovely celebration held in their honor.
