BLIND GREG HAS HAD NO INTEREST AND HAS NOT HAD ANY OFFERS TO HELP HIM!! THIS IS SO SAD! THIS POOR BOY NEEDS A BREAK!

Greg came into a local SJ shelter on Feb 9th as a stray.
The poor boy must have been very scared out in the world alone because he seems to be blind. Our vet feels he is totally blind in the left eye and may have some limited vision in the right eye.
Greg is approx 1 yr old and weighs 43 lbs.
    It has been almost 3 months that Greg has been sitting in a cage with no interest at all, and the volunteers are worried for him. The volunteers wrote on his profile papers;
    Greg is a happy boy
Friendly and loves everyone he meets.
He keeps his kennel clean (most likely house broken)
    Knows "sit"
    Loves toys
    Walks well on leash
    Needs fenced yard
    Picky about dogs he meets
    No food aggression
Greg is beginning to get sores on his knees and belly from constantly jumping at his cage for attention. Over 3 months in a cage is not doing him any good.
I took Greg out for awhile today and he did very well. A bit excited when we first got outside, but quieted down nicely and enjoyed his walk. Of course, there were tears when he had to be returned to his cage.
If you have room for this beautiful young pup, please let me know asap
If not, would you please crosspost to help him out of a shelter cage?
    Thanks!

I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
    Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.

Thank you, Sandie. I sent this on to the person posting this notice and the one who sent it to me. I also invited them to follow the thread or even join in and participate!

Here's hoping little Greg finds just the right home!!!
