    Happy February 29th!

Well, to start the day, Coop and I went out to start the car (we carpool for work), and the Subaru basically blew a gasket. It's dead. We were kind of anticipating this, but...still....

Later on, we had a FIERCE thunderstorm (in February; did I mention it was February?).

This area has had no winter. We are headed up to New Hampshire and will be following a storm leaving possibly a foot of snow where we're going (which is good, since we're going to ski).

    Weird day? Happy February 29th!

When I got to work yesterday morning it was 55 degrees and sunny. A beautiful morning, unusually warm for February. When I left work 10 hours later -- it was 33 degrees and snowing! They say that if you don't like the weather in Chicago, just wait a few minutes because it will change.

I have a friend whose son was born about 9:30 last night They were hoping for either Feb. 28 or March 1- no such luck.

And Davy Jones from the Monkees passed away yesterday. How sad.
Praying for peace in the Middle East, Ukraine, and around the world.

I've been Boo'd ... right off the stage!

Aaahh, I have been defrosted! Thank you, Bonny and Asiel!
