    Purple Squirrel

When I first heard this story on the news I was wondering what these people were drinking.

A purple squirrel was caught around the area where I live.

You can read the story here and see the photo.

I saw a video of the squirrel earlier this weekend, one does wonder what he got into that turned him that color!

I would love to see this-- it must have gotten into something unless it's some kind of trick of nature.

I wonder how safe the dyes in rivers & golf course ponds are & releasing squirrels in an open corn field makes them very vulnerable to other critters with no trees to climb?
The frost is on the pumpkin & I've been BOO'D by two pet talk ghosts.

Squirrels can run pretty fast. I doubt there is any real danger here to them.

There are coyotes here & I have seen them catch squirrels out in the open fields. The squirrels can run but if there aren't any trees close by they don't always make it. That is the natural world of the wild animals prey & predator.
