    Meet Rosko

So my co-worker had been telling me about this pup for a while...its her neighbors dog and she just told me about him because of course he's a husky and she knows I love them. They kept him outside on a tie-out all the time. Well last weekend she told me that the neighbor tried to give him to her, they were moving and didn't want the dog, if she didn't take him they'd take him to the shelter. The nearby shelter is not good I've talked to the arctic breeds rescue before about a dog in there (it was a malamute my friend's cousin found - luckily she was claimed) and apparently they won't give dogs to rescues they'd rather sell them for research so she usually only pulls dogs from other shelters.

Anyway, I couldn't let the pup end up in the shelter so I told her to get him and I'd take him. Yeah needless to say I'm smitten I love this little boy he's such a sweetie. My dogs like him too they all play non-stop I bet he's so happy to not be tied up anymore. I'm NOT keeping him, I can't, I have four dogs, I promised Corby I wouldn't bring home any more. I'd love to just keep fostering him until he found a home but Corby isn't thrilled he's here, he's being fine about it, but I promised I wouldn't do this and unless you're the crazy dog lady like me 5 dogs is a little nuts. So I've been talking to the arctic breeds rescue and she's picking him up from me on Saturday. They are a great rescue and I have full confidence she'll find him a great home! I just wanted to share some pics of him with you guys. He's 6 months old and about the size of Skya right now (about 30 lbs) she's a little taller but he has a bigger snout/ears/feet, I think he'll be on the small side maybe about the size of Keva (45 lbs). Did I mention how adorable he is?

Love his markings, the white fur in his ears looks SOOOooo soft!

What jerks, those folks had a wonderful dog! I'm glad he got away from them, I think his life will be much better going forward.

Thank you for stepping in to help him!

    (5 small dogs is a lot, I can't imagine 5 larger ones! )

What a beautiful pup! He just looks so happy in the pic where he is running FREE!!! I just can't imagine why some people have a dog, to just keep it tied outside all it's life - really makes me sad. Thanks for giving this handsome guy the opportunity to find a loving and caring family.

Wow, he is beautiful!!! I really wish I knew someone that would take him. I'd love to watch him grow up.
Thank you for taking him in and giving him a chance. I have to go back and look at the pictures again....I can't get over how perfect his face is.

He's so cute. Too bad you aren't in WI, my sister's been longing for a husky for quite some time.
