    Pie in a jar

    http://www.squawkfox.com/2010/06/24/pie-in-a-jar/

Has anyone every tried making these? If so, any tips? How did they turn out?

I'm thinking about making a bunch and sticking them in the freezer for company. My family likes pie, but everyone likes different ones.

I like apple and pumpkin. Can't stand cherry.
My sis likes apple and cherry. Can't stand pumpkin.
    My brother likes blueberry.
    My mom likes pecan.
Bobcat only likes 2 kinds of pie -- hot and cold!

How fun! Those look really cute, and like a fun idea. Paul's not really a "pie" person, so that would be a way for me to make a bunch of single-serving pies when I get a hankering, as even my small pie plate makes too much for just me!

Those are the cutest things ever! I can cook and bake just about anything but I have never had luck making pie crusts. However, I LOVE PIE!

These would be so cute to make and give as gifts.

If you make some take pics and share please.

What a cute idea. I might have to try it.

I was thinking the same thing!!! I love pie, love to cook and bake, but can't make a crust to save my life.

    Those pics are just adorable!

You have to post pics if you try to make them!!!

    Now I'm hungry!!

Pie crust is not too hard, honest! Just don't stress about it, and stop before it looks like "dough" and you'll be better off ... it should look like crumbs, but hold together when you press it with your fingers ...
Or just buy a crust, that's the never fail option!

If we ever make these, we'll definitely take photos.

No homemade crust for me. I plan on buying it at the store.
