    So glad you found your forever home!! Your furparents are so right. It's rough out there. We're fostering a lovely girl whose furparents came to hard times, too. We all do what we can to help patch lives together. Stanley, much love to you. So glad you got to find your forever-home. Very soon, you'll be all filled-out, showing off those good looks and filled to the brim with love! Congrats on being DotD!

    Wednesday's pooch

    There is nothing as wonderful as rescuing a dog in need. Congratulations! We, too, have rescued dogs- three Golden Retrievers. Great for the dogs, and unconditional love for the humans!! What a beautiful Bassett!!!

I'm so happy for you Stanley, that you found your way to such a wonderful, loving, forever family after such a rough start in life! As your Dad says, there are so many deserving doggies (and critters of all kinds) patiently sitting in shelters all across the country, just waiting for that perfect someone to come along! And didn't you find your perfect match in your family, sweetheart! You do your beloved predecessor Waldo, Dog of Day, Aug. 4 1999, proud! He truly was one very special pup, with some mighty big pawprints to fill, but his legacy lives on through you, Stanley! And talk about active! How neat is that feature photo of you and your proud Papa atop Gray's Peak (14,270 ft.!) What a team, and just one of many such exciting adventures to come, no doubt!
