It's so nice to see all the colors when the world wakes up from a long winter. I can almost smell those hyacinths - I always loved the smell of them. My ex used to buy me a pot of purple ones every year at Easter, so I guess there is one thing I miss about him....We actually have leaves popping out on the maples now, and soon my red car will be covered in yellow pollen.
Tiz the season to be sneezin - even the pups are!

I'm guessing the bunny is a wind sock, thanks for sharing the pictures, Sandra, and pictures are as close as I'd want to get to hyacinths - I am hugely allergic to them in real life!
I've Been Frosted
So beautiful and spring-like! Thank you, Sandie!

Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.

What a lovely sight - something we won't see for another month at least over here. I love it when all the flowers are in bloom but our summers just don't last long enough.

Beautiful Flowers in your garden, really nice!!!![]()
Wow, my daffodils are barely peeking through the ground. Your flowers are lovely, Sandie!

Loved your garden. Here in Markham my snow drops and crocus have been in flower but that is all. Some critter has bitten the heads right off my early tulips that were just about to open. What critter would do that?
Thank you for all the lovely comments!
Rabbits will eat your tulips. You can buy Scat, a hot pepper spray, at most garden centers. Rabbits don't like that flavor and will leave the flowers alone.
.
Who knew?? We have lots of rabbits but they usually eat the tender shoots just as they poke out of the ground. This is a first time for the whole flower head.
LOL, must be fewer rabbits, or more tulips! He he heeee.
We don't have rabbits around here. We did when I bought the house, 9 uyears ago. But then the coyotes moved in . . . . .![]()
.
We have a coyote in the neighbourhood for the first time this year. I wondered where all the rabbits had gone but lo and behold - they were just waiting for the spring bulbs to start growing! Don't know what the coyote is feeding on but my neighbour will no longer let her Jack Russell Roxy roam round the back yard on it's own.
