    Last Night's Big Moon

    Here are some pictures of last night's "Supermoon".It was 15 percent bigger than normal and orange in color and only happens once every 18 years.

    Yup - it looked like a big helium balloon rising above the trees - from my vantage point. Awesome!

    Don't expect I'll be around to see the next one.........

    Yes, the moon's very bright right now, and obviously closer to earth than it has been in the last 18 years... Took a picture of it two nights ago:
