    Agility Training Class with Willy

Willy has had 12 classes now, so tonight I took along my camera and asked another class member to video us. Willy is a natural at it, he has never shown any fear or reluctance with ANY of the obstacles! He enjoys the A frame so much -- " all this and I get TREATS too? WOWZER!" He hee.

In this course, we have jumps, A frame, 2 tunnels, and the start of weave poles. We are learning the weave using the 2x2 method, and have just the 2 poles at this point. At Thursday's class, we add two more. By competition, we will need to weave 12 poles! But that is down the road.

At this point in the class, we had done this course once, and I had watched 6 other dogs run through it as well. Willy is new to sequencing, so we stop after one of the jump obstacles (the 7th obstacle of the course) for a treat reward. The place we stop for treats requires a "front cross" which we have not learned yet in our group. So enjoy our run!

YAY, Willy! Great Job! You are so cute and fluffy -- and agile, too!

Aaahh, I have been defrosted! Thank you, Bonny and Asiel!

Way to go Willy!!! Yes, he sure looks like a natural at this and I'm glad that he's having such a great time. Good luck with the future agility obstacles.
