Hello, I am so sorry for your loss. I know you miss her very much... gone but not forgotten. She was a very pretty girl with her black and white colors. It also sounds as if she was smart and sweet also. I'm so sorry she didnt have a longer life but I'm sure you loved her all the time you had her. Yes, One day you probably will open your home and heart to another dog and still keep Missy in your heart and memories. I'm glad Missy is honored as DOTD! Kay in NC

Beautiful fur angel Missy.
My heart breaks and my eyes fill with tears thinking your wonderful new life with your forever family had only just begun before you were called to the Rainbow Bridge. That precious, simply heart wrenching photo of you with your little person says it all; you were one gentle soul, as beautiful in heart as you were in body. You were taken long before your time, Missy, but I hope your family takes comfort in the knowledge that you left this earth knowing how unconditionally loved you were; a cherished and beloved member of the family. What a precious legacy of love you have left behind, sweet Missy. As your Mommy says, you were truly one of a kind, and the pawprints you've left on the hearts of all how knew and loved you, eternal.
Now you've earne your angel wings, Missy, so run and scamper and romp happily at the Rainbow Bridge, healthy and whole once more, until that joyful day when you and your family are reunited…I know that my girls Jingles and Cody are taking you by the paw and showing you the ropes…that today all of our fur angels will be throwing you a very happy Dog of the Day Rainbow Bridge pup party, celebrating your much deserved day of honor!

Missy, I"m glad someone took you and was able to give you a good life. I am so sad however that it was tragically cut short. You looked like such a sweet girl who gave her love right back.

What a beautiful dog! I have a purebred American bulldog and she and Missy could be sisters. How sure are you about the lab/boxer mix?
I hope you are able to enjoy the love of a new friend soon.
