Facebook - upgrade your security. It's easy!

While on Facebook, look at your URL address; if you see http: instead of https: then you don't have a secure session and you can be hacked. Go to Account|Account Settings|Account Security and click Change. Check at least the first setting, otherwise FB defaults to the non-secure setting. Copy and repost.

I did this today while I was at work. Then tonight when I got home I went to go play one of the three games I play and it wouldn't allow me to play it with the https: It had to be http: So there are always little loop holes in everything!

Yikes...makes me wonder about the game!

I knew about the http vs https before, but until this was posted on FB I never checked! I don't play any of the games there, so it's no problem for me.

Bummer for you, though...

I do not play any of the games that want you to have friends play it. Like Mafia Wars, Farmville, Cafe World...all of those. I only play Bejeweled Blitz, Zuma Blitz and Farkle. Games I play alone and usually just try to beat my own score. These are all games you could play off facebook too. Maybe that's why it doesn't have that security.

Also just did this. I was once hacked and then whoever hacked me posted spam on just about every single one of my friend's walls .

One of my friends posted this and I changed mine too. Then when I went to play Scrabble it said it wasn't a secure site. I love my Scrabble so I just went with it. Oh well..............

I went with it too. I have to play my three games each night. I like Scrabble too, but only when my sister will play a game with me....which is NEVER!! Sometimes I can get her boyfriend to play. LOL

Then I went to play Pet Society, got the message, can't play it in safe mode. Went ahead and played. When I returned to FB, there was NO "S"!

Yep, same for me. I guess if you want to be safe, just reset it after you play the games each time. That's a pain, but it would work.
