Merlin I could just scream when I heat about how dogs lives were before their loving families found them and adopted them. There is no reason in thw world an animal should be abused and neglected. Good morning and a very happy Dog of the Day to you handsome, adorable Merlin the Great! You couldn't be more perfectly named Merlin, for you sure know how to work your *magic,* and t's clear you have your family under your spell!

It makes my blood boil to think that your "rescuer" was "this" close to ending your life for nothing more than being an inconvenience! Thank goodness their evil intentions came to light in time, that you were granted a reprieve at the very last moment, and as your dear forever Mommy says, thank God for all of those wonderful folks who devote their lives to saving so many innocent, deserving animals, pups such as you! And now, in the loving,caring, committed arms of your true forever family, your beautiful spirit is shining, your heart singing, and oh, isn't life great! That photo of you with "Teddy" in tow is just the best! hehe And I wouldn't get all hung up over that Teddy vs sheep confusion, Merlin! In the immortal words of the Bard of Avon, "a rose by any other name..." (well, sort of).

Thanks to your family for sharing you and your uplifting bio., your heart warming photos with us, Merlin! You are so very deserving of the title Dog of the Day, and your family SO very blessed to have a beautiful best furkid and friend for life, in you!
