I am starting a new post because Phred has taken a REAL turn for the worst. He needs all the prayers he can get. He is on a ventilator, and has been given some heart medication and needs a blood transfusion. The blood transfusion may help turn things around but right now things are not good at all. His social worker just called me - Pat and Joan are there and will be there for the time being. He has a Living Will and doesn't want much extra done to continue to live if he can't breathe etc. on his own.
Some of you thought I went last Friday to get the dogs - I must have written it wrong in that post - it is this Friday I am suppose to go but now I am wondering if I should try to get there sooner. The problem is my job, Carl's job etc. We'll have to see if I can make arrangements to go sooner - but right now I'll just be waiting by the phone to see how things go.
PLEASE PRAY HARD FOR OUR PHRED!!!
