    Blackberry Curve question

I have one that replaced the OLD Curve that had two keys that were not working.

However, on both of them I could not add new entries directly to the Address Book.

I downloaded the manual - and as usual, it said to go to the Address Book, click the Menu Button, choose Filters and then New.

Can't find Filters or New on either the short or full menu.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks!

I've got a curve as my work blackberry. When you say address book do you mean contacts?

Yes...as in adding contacts to the Address Book. When you scroll across the desktop, there is a little black book icon that displays "address book" when the cursor lands on it.

    I dunno???

When I add someone to my address book, all I do is go to the Address Boook icon, click the Blackberry button and then scroll to New Address. I've never used the Filter..

I have the Curve 2 and it is so different. No blackberry button in my book.

For a phone it can be annoying. Sometimes simpler is better.

Not my idea; it was a gift from my mom last Christmas.
