    An interesting visitor

This morning I noticed this visitor on our lawn! Luckiky I had my camera closeby (hey, that's typical a PT-er ), so I quickly took a few pics.
They are a bit blurry, because they're taken from inside the house!
It is a woodpecker, but I am not sure which one it is

He was very alert, and as soon as he noticed me behind the window, off he took!!

NICE catch (with camera)! Thanks for getting the photos for us.

Seems to be the "green woodpecker."

    Gorgeous bird! Thank you.
I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
    Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.

That is a beautiful wild bird. Thank you for sharing the pictures. You learn something new everyday. A Green Woodpecker & possibly a male? The male woodpeckers in this part of the country have the little red skull caps on their heads.
