Thank you for sharing Indie with us. What a handsome and intelligent, sweet and curious boy. How much fun the two or you had together is so obvious. He was a little stinker crawling down your arm wasn't he? I know you miss him terribly but can see and hear in your words what a good life he had. Indie's sweet face made my day. Hugs

To Indie's Mom.

Thank you so much for sharng your beautiful boy with us all; we are honored to have such a deserving furangel as our very special Sunday honoree.

Oh yes, I do find your precious little Indie to be adorable, adorable beyond words. That beautiful sweet face of his, his gentle, loving expression, bring tears to my eyes. I'm heartbroken, knowing your very special boy is no longer with you, in body. It's so indescribably painful to lose a beloved furkid, but even more so when their lives are cut short; when they are taken from us before their time. Your beautiful boy may have only been with you for a year, but the happy times, the unconditional love you two shared, is incalculable. Every moment of his life Indie knew how deeply loved he was, and he was truly blessed to have had a guardian as caring and devoted as you, as you were to have known the companionship of such a gentle, loving soul. I couldn't help but smile as I read how he came to love his baby food! I have had both ailing kitties and guinea pigs who also came to cherish their fruit flavored Gerber's, taking their medicine like a champ when mixed with the yummy stuff, as did your Indie. And oh yes, his whiskers are simply amazing!

Over the years I have read here on Pet Talk so many glowing tributes praising the priceless rewards of rattie love, and your boy Indie, the beautiful bond of love and trust you two shared, is testament to that; he may have earned his angel wings, but his precious spirit lives on in your heart. Until that happy day of reunion, hold tight to those cherished memories you made, and I hope seeing him honored here today, reading all of the heartfelt messages of support, bring a smile to your face, a small measure of comfort.

Sending you a big hug, and lots of cuddles and kisses to Indie at the Rainbow Bridge, who is no doubt enjoying the very happy, fun filled Pet of the Day party being thrown him by all of our beloved furangels!
