    Sam!

    Isn't it wonderful that there are people in the world like Sam's family. They are the lucky ones to adopt such a loveable goofball! Congrats Sam on findiing your forver home and being DOTD

    Sam,

    I am so happy you found such a wonderful furrever home and happy for them that they found you too! What a beauty you are and obviously so even tempered. That second picture of you pulling your boy and the cat so happy to be in your company made my smile.

    Yay Sam! Happy Dog of the Day to you, beautiful Labbie boy! Everyone here in this Lab loving home are so happy to see such a handsome, lovable, deserving Labbie be crowned Dog of the Day! That picture of you with your adorable little skin brother, and kitty pal, is just heart melting! And yay to Petfiners (along with your wonderful family), for giving you the chance to find that perfect forever home and family, one who will love you and cherish you, forever and always! So many great matches are born on Petfinders, and you Sam, are living proof of the many amazing, wonderful, precious pups to be found there, doggies just waiting to shower a family with love! And yes, quite the "bargain" you were! (Who knew that in the baragin they would get a dedicated recycler!) I can't, however, imagine a pup as special as you finding himself homeless, but in the end, things couldn't have worked out better; you're home to stay! You are everything a Retriever lover could hope for in Lab, everything a young family with children could hope for in a furkid, and I wish for you and yours Sam, a very happy, fun filled Dog of the Day, and many, many more wonderful, love filled years together!     It's wonderful having one of my neighboring pets honored today. Well, almost neighbor. I grew up in Pittsburg and still have kin there. I live about 30 miles from there now. It looks like you have lots of fun with your humans. I hope you are all enjoying your special day to the fullest. Ask them to give you a big hug from me, ok?

    Sam, you must encourage your humans to enter your "sled dog" photo in a contest or two! Besides your natural beauty, it shows off a fantastic trio of canine, human, and feline, and is very skillfully composed. You deserve to be a prize winner!

    Sam enjoyed DOTD status

    Sam our lab was excited to be DOTD, or maybe it was that hotdog I let him have! Everyone, thank you for all the eloquent words complimenting Sam and his bio.....it was really neat and I read what you wrote to my hubby, he thought that was cool that so many people noticed our Sam and what a wonderful furkid he is. By the way, the kitty is named Sally, maybe she will get nominated for COTD soon! Thanks again!!! Sam's Lucky Family
