    I'm not sure what kind of operating system you have, I'm hoping it's like mine. I have a Windows XP machine. When I right click on the photo, one of the options it offered was "Email picture..." . When you left click this option, it offers to resize the photo to transfer more quickly. You might want to give this a try... Good luck.
