Columbus Zoo

Hubby and I spent all day Friday at the Zoo. We drove down on Thursday spent the night and arrived at the Zoo bright and early.
The weather was overcast for the most part except when we went to see the birds (it poured) but we didn't care.

Ah thanks Bonnie, but my hair was soaking wet, not my best moment but that is ok I so enjoyed myself. The birds were so sweet.

Columbus has a great zoo. It took hubby and I from 9:30 to 4:45 to walk almost the entire zoo, we missed a bit when it poured.

They have no zebra, giraffe, snow leopard as Cleveland does.
I think the snow leopard is the most beautiful animal I have ever seen, second would be lions and tigers for me.

Their aquarium is very small, Cleveland has them beat on that hands down.

The polar bear exhibit however was grand, I loved it and watched this beautiful girl for a long time. It is hard to imagine they could be extincit soon.

It is well worth a day's trip.
