Note that he will also be getting a Macbook laptop
I think I need to start over

    My opinion?

iPads are useless, underpowered expensive pieces of silicon. At least Apple's iMac and Macbook lines of computers can *do* something. The iPad runs the same Operating System as the iPhone, which severely limits it's capabilities as any form of a real computer, which is what some people are expecting out of it. If they would at least put OS X on it, it might be useful.

It is a neat gadget, but I wouldn't use it for anything serious.

Don't want it for anything "serious" got a computer for that. I want it so that I can get on PT during the day and not use my work computer and get fired.

    LOLOLOLOL,

What is the 'Early Adopter' stupidity all about?

I HATE it when society changes a 'tag' to make something sound acceptable.

When stereo VCRs came out, I bought one for 600 dollars.

They came down in price and before they went 'extinct' they were 30 dollars for a decent deck.

Early Adopter is another word for a "Person with more money than they need."

Now, every company's IT will try to justify purchasing one for every person in the company!

I slept, overnight, on the asphalt in a Sears parking lot for David Bowie tickets and didn't go to the concert.......So, if these people got something out of their camping?

Everyone needs something to live for, Richard. Don't deny these folks their little ray of sunshine.

I'll get mine when the price comes down and the lines go away.
