    Today's walk at the field

We have been regulars at the field walk. We went again today and I got a few pics and lots of video. See, we met some other dogs today for the first time! (I mean, other than leashing up my flock and rushing past).

First, we have to get in the car. Now, in general I START with all 4 in the back seat. That lasts maybe 30 seconds, but we START with them in the back seat. :sneaky:

Hey, come on, I need to see FOUR faces over here! Nearest: Tasha, Marlin, Sugar, Lacey.

I can't get used to Marlin's new smaller size, since the groomer removed his 4 inches of winter coat.

    Sugar in front

    More to come.

wanted a new pic of my 4. Hah! They had other ideas, but eventually (leaving out a whole lot of attempts) I think I got one.

They aren't all looking up at me, but they are in there, lol.

This video I took for the geese. Sorry for it bouncing, I forgot to stop walking! And there was a wind off the water, which you can hear clearly. But I hope you can hear the geese honking too.

We met up with a lady with a Jack Russell ( she chats a LOT!), and a man with a Pomerainian puppy and an older dog. I dropped Tasha's leash so she could play with the puppy. The first time, I just watched them and laughed, then I remembered I had the camera with me!

This is a very short vid, with some nice shots of the puppy. Tasha gets excited and barks (she does this at all the doggie play dates too, I am working on it) so I didn't keep it going too long, her bark is annoying.

    Stand by for some more!

This video has 2 great segments. First, you see Marlin trying to "greet" the puppy, he hee. Then, the puppy has to whisper a secret in . . . Tasha's ear! riginal:

The man with the 2 dogs left but was heading the same way we were. You can see him way off in the distance at the start of this. Well, the puppy noticed Tasha running, he hee. Sadly, Tasha didn't notice the puppy!

That puppy got a good long run! (Last vid)

I asked a woman who was walking on her own (no dog) to take a pic of me with the flock. I still had the camera set for videos, didn't realize. I've taken one frame, then photoshopped it twice. Not as good as I'd like, but better than nothing.

So that is all for today's adventure.

You fluffs sure know how to have fun. I'll bet you're stuck in the house today with all the rain tho.

Sandie - I saw on the news this a.m. where Cranston is under water. Are you still high and dry? It's still raining here too, but supposed to be 80 this weekend. Wa-hoo!!!!!

I just love to see Tasha having so much fun. What a difference love and nurturing can make.........

Fine here. I started a thread in Other General, "Forget the 100 Year Flood Map"

Folks have been taking photos and sending them in to the TV stations. Part of our walk is . . . GASP! Under water!!
