    My 2 new additions :)

Hi everyone! My name is Mike, and I recently lost my dearist kitten Loki. She will be forever missed!!! So I headed down to the local shelter to look at their kittens, and found thes 2 they are so adorable! They will never replace Loki, but I just could not be with out kittens. One is a male (name hasnt come to me yet), a Lynx Point Siamese whith a great personality and is very vocal and has a strong purr motor! The next one is a Female (Sicily), American Short Hair, she is a doll. Shes a bit timmid but is getting used to her new suroundings. Has a nice meow, purr is a bit quiet, with gray eyes. They get along very good, she follows him around and they clean each other, which suprised me as they are not litter mates.

I love all my cats heres some pics:

I'm sorry for your loss. I'm sure Loki is watching over you from the rainbow bridge, and excited for you and your new companions. They are so cute! Good luck to you and the new furkids on the block. And welcome to Pet Talk!

Awwww, awwww! Mr. Nameless looks just like my sister's RB cat, Poco ("little" in Italian because he was a tiny boy when he first came home). What does his tail look like?

Congratulations, Mike! Your additions are beautiful!

They're both absolutely beautiful! And I love the names you chose. My Song of the Day (I have a huge iTunes library, and I let my computer pick a daily theme with the first tune it plays) for today is Banks of Sicily, and Orion was one of my best friends when I was growing up. I'd take long walks with him in the winter, and the sight of him always makes me smile. How lovely that they're already best friends! May they bring you many years of joy.

    Love, Columbine

Welcome to PT!!! I commented in your thread about Loki. I'm so sorry for your loss. Congrats on your 2 new additions. Orion and Sicily are adorable. My Pearl is also a Lynx Point Siamese mix and she's very vocal. Orion will become much darker as he matures. I'm sure that these two will be full of energy and mischief. I look forward to hearing more about them and seeing many more pictures of them too.

They sure look cute together. So how many other cats do you have? Can we also hear about them and see some of their pictures?

I can tell you about our 2 other furballs (we have 4 total now)! The first one is Bricket. She got that name as she looks like a brick with legs She is a very simple cat, with very simple needs! hahahaha Food, Loves, Sleep thats all she needs! She is a domestic shorthair tabby. Our next cat, is Peanut. She acts like a nut case hence her name She is a domestic shorthair, tabby. She has one unique personality! She can be somewhat a bitch (pardon my words!) hahah But she can be a sweetheart too! I dont have any pics right now on this computer, Ill post some later

Now I need some help. My 2 new kittens are biting our hands like its going out of style. Do you think this has to do with them teathing or are they just playing. As most of the bites are super hard! I have some cuter pics of them today ill get up tomorrow. Thanks for the help!

    Beautiful kittens!

As for the biting, thats completely normal. They do it for several reasnos, one being teething, but mostly its for attention or food. My Trixie had quite the bite when she was that size! You just have to be consistent on not allowing them to bite your hands and they figure it out. Luckily, you have two kittens, because they teach each other that bites hurt (in other words, they figure out biting hurts faster)

What a beautiful little pair of babies, they are gorgeous. I am sorry to hear the loss of your precious cat Loki. I lost my boy Jack near two years ago now, and it never gets any easier.
I have Sunny (Jack's sister) and our boy Xavi we've had just over a year, he'll be 2 years old in July.
I look forward to seeing these too little ones grow up on Pet Talk!
