There is a new funny issue in our house, and it concerns Pinot and my new mini Dell computer. As I sit here in our library/music room with the mini on my lap, I suddenly got company. You all don't know this, but Pinot is NOT a lap cat. She cuddles with me, sleeps behind my knees, but is NOT a lap kitty. She climbed up the arm of the chair, at first tried to walk on the keys (try typing through that), then settled herself at the front of my lap carefully placed between me and the mini. I petted her for quite a while, she then climbed into the open window behind me; I took the opportunity to open up the Dell and finish what I was doing. She came out of the window and tried to get to the keyboard again. She has now resettled in her window.

Don't be surprised if you get a post from her some day! I think she's taking notes!
