Hawking rulz! I love the episodes when he appears on the Simpsons and has the boxing gloves on his wheelchair.

They just had a special called Hawking's Universe and talked about how he dealt with not being able to write (no problem; he did the equations IN HIS HEAD!!). When he couldn't type it really depressed him, until someone from the US sent him a prototype "smart" computer which could predict what he was going to type.
