My parents cats.

My parents got their first cat from me when I had to move into a apartment that didnt allow animals. Dana was only at my parents house for a little more then a day when my friend found her a new home. I got a call that night from my mom that she wanted to keep the cat. Luckily my friend was able to get her back, and return her to my parents house. Dana has been with my folks since 1995.

Dana 300.





I got Dana at the urging of an ex gf, when she was working at a pet store. When I stepped into the kitty room Dana crawled up my carharts and made the most annoying meow I had ever heard, how could I leave her there?



The parents second cat is simply known as the Black Cat. He just showed up and has been hanging around for I dont know how many years now. At first he was just outside but is now indoor outdoor. I was lucky at Christmas a few years ago, he let me pet him. He is a shy little bugger.

BC has a tail but its deformed, like half a tail folded in half.

Its funny that it was my mom who wanted to keep Dana but its my step dad that dotes on her every whim and spoils her.

I dont know what happened to Black Cats tail but it is deformed, picture half a normal tail folded back on itself and healed together.

ETA: Im kinda suprised no one questioned the 300 part of Dana 300's name.

THey are extremely lucky considering my folks wouldnt alow us pets, other then fish for a short time, as kids. Mom keeps saying after Dana and BC pass , no more pets. My step dad remains silent on that.

I named Dana after the transfer case in my '84 Alaskan Postal Jeep, the Dana 300. I got a confused look from the vet I took her too for her shots and then her spaying over the 300, I insisted it go on her records.
