About an hour ago, a low pressure system in the Gulf of Mexico attained the status of Tropical Depression. This system is strengthening quickly, and it is predicted to become a tropical storm soon. It is headed N at 16 MPH, and is expected to impact the Florida panhandle/Alabama coast tomorrow.
