We have only had him for a few days so we are working on getting used to humans and the halter training. the first day he was used to the dogs, and Alaska was mothering and protecting him. If he dribbled on himself she cleaned it up and just an all over cleaning, and she will keep within 2 feet of him at all times to "keep an eye out"

How so Cute & Sweet you are Pete.. Now Pete are you going to be a Show Calf??
. There are a few people who ride steers in the area, and a holstien is one of the top 3 riding breeds. I figure thats a whole lot better than ending up as coyote bait, as there is no use with a male on a dairy farm.
