Sox, you are absolutely BEAUTIFUL! I cannot understand how anyone could give up a loving pet just because they're old and don't want to take care of them anymore. But, Sox, you have the right people now, and you'll be happy and healthy for a very long time. You're a very lucky cat to have someone love you so very much now. Oh, Sox, when I read your story, I cried. How could anyone give you up? But I kept reading and my tears turned to happiness when I read how your meowmie saw you and decided to take you HOME.

What a wonderful thing! Now you are Queen of the house and can have a joyful, loving and safe life with your beloved meowmie. What a comfort you must be to her. This is truly the best of two worlds.

Thank goodness for people like Sox's Mom - how cruel and self-centered people are. There is no acceptable excuse for leaving abandoning a 15 year old cat (or any elderly cat for that matter). Sadly, because of the overpopulation of cats (and dogs), this inhuman race has the misconception that these loving animals are disposable and also replaceable. They are not. Those of us who have lost one of our beloved furry family know how devastating and heartbreaking it is. I know how hard it is right now with the economy so please, anyone reading this who has furkids and is thinking of abandoning them, please think twice - giving up their unconditional love during this rough time would not help their situation or yours. We all have little ways we can cut back to still be able to afford to keep our devoted furry friends if we try hard enough - and it's more than worth it, they more than deserve it.

To our dear neighbor Sox, you are utterly ADORABLE!!!!!

We're along with everyone else here as to what we think of your first alleged-humans who would dump you at the Humane Society at age 15. But what a BLESSING it is that that sweet, wonderful, kind person was volunteering that day, saw you for the true jewel that you are, and took you home to love you and cherish you forever.
