Happy Birthday Skya!

Today is Skya's Birthday! She's a year old already, which is hard to believe. I weighed her last night and she's a whopping 32 lbs. She's the smallest, weirdest, and most crazy little husky I've ever met. She's a sweetheart though, she loooves me...and pretty much just me, but she's getting to like a few other people now. Of course it's raining so not too exciting of a birthday for her, but I'm going to try to take her on a hike tomorrow if its better weather. Happy Birthday sweet girl!

Yeah, she is pretty small for a husky, isn't she? Taggart weighs 50lbs (well, he was actually 52 or 53 but we put him on a little diet) and is still much smaller than I would have expected. Especially since people think he has Great Pyrenees in him.

I think Skya and Taggart would look so good together. Maybe one of these days we'll have to take a road trip with the pups to Utah. Or meet in the middle.

Skya says thanks everyone for the Happy Birthday wishes! I have a ton of pics I'd like to post (including Strut Your Mutt) but my computer is out of memory so I have no space to put them I kind of have to figure that out first. :/

Yes she's super tiny, I've never met a husky that small. She's more like an american eskimo than a husky. Yeah I would have expected Taggart to get bigger than that with the possibility of pyrenees.

Anytime you want to take a road trip to Utah, I'd love to meet you and the pups. One of these days I'd like to make a trip out to California with the dogs too.
