OMG!!! Capybara!!! Dobby is so cute!

I can't believe that you have a capybara in your home. . .I lOOOOOOOVE them! They are absolutely adorable! I'd love to hear more about your relationship as you live your lives together. I never heard of anyone living with a capybara so I didn't know how they would interact with humans. It sounds like he is very intellegent and affectionate. Don't they dig burrows as well? Will he be digging huge holes in your yard? How funny to come to someone's house and find a capybara burrowed there!

I saw Dobby's thumbnail pic and thought, that looks like a capybara! But you can't have a capybara in the house, he must be a degu or something... I'll be. Now I have seen everything. I thought you needed to live in a river to have a pet capybara! Well, now I've learned something new. Congrats on being POTD, Dobby, and enjoy your unusual life!

I have never heard of this animal before but he is the cutest POTD! How funny that he plays on the steps with his stuffed rabbit. Wait until he finds out he is POTD, he will really be putting his nose up! Love it!!!

I can't stop smiling after seeing your wonderful pictures. You certainly look like one happy fellow!!! What a treat for me to see your pictures and meet you today. I'm not sure we have ever had a Capybara as a Pet of the Day before.

At first glance I thought you were a throw back to a prehistoric guinea pig...except you swim! What a fun menagerie of assorted critters you share your life with Dobby, though no doubt your Mom has her hands (happily) full! Now I have to go Google "you" to learn even more about you! In the meantime the smile you've brought to my face will stay on for hours to come!

I so enjoyed reading all about you and your very special species, Dobby; looking at your heartmelting photos, reading about your amazing Mom, and your amazing life!
