    HI-THE WAY I SEE IT-IT WAS YOU THAT ADOPTED YOUR HUMAN RIGHT AWAYBUT YOU ARE A SWEET BIRD TO LET IT SOUND LIKE IT HAPPENED IN THE REVERSE-LOL THIS STORY IS GREAT-HAPPY PET OF THE DAYYJRTR WAS THAT MOVIE A WHILE BACK CALLED "PAULIE" BUT I THINK THE BIRD WAS MALE. YOU ARE SO BEAUTIFUL. I LIVE WITH CATS BUT LIKE BIRDS TOOPEACE OUT SUSANSWATLIN518

    Pretty Paulie, I love your peach belly! I'm wondering if not having nails hinders your ability to securely grip a perch . . . could that be why you prefer to relax on your back? Of course the tummy rubs and scritches are a benefit, too! I'm so glad you and your loving guardian found each other. I wish you both a very happy POTD celebration!

I know from experience that doggies love to go belly up for rubs, even a few kitties I know love belly rubs! But you're the first feathered one I've met who begs for belly rubs! What a touching tribute your Mom has shared with us today! No doubt about it, you and your family were meant to be as one, Paulie! What a fateful day that was, the day she walked into that pet shop and opened up her heart and home to you! How blessed she is, having a best feathered friend as joyful, and charming; as life and people loving as you! I'm sorry to hear about the loss of your claws, sweetie. But it's clear such a minor challenge hasn't kept you from enjoying every moment of your happy, love filled life! Hope you're off to a fun day of celebration, sweet P.
