    Iditarod 2009

The Last Great Race starts today. http://www.iditarod.com/

Don't know if the start is broadcast anywhere outside of Alaska, but if you see it, look for #36 - Gerry Sousa http://www.iditarod.com/race/musherp...herbio_67.html

Bobcat will be riding in his sled for the start. We attended a fundraiser for the library and bid on the Iditarod package. The winner gets to ride in the sled.

Soooo, be on the lookout for my Bobcat. He's not feeling very well, but he couldn't pass up this chance.

I watched the Discovery Chanel documentary about the 2008 race. Its one of the few shows I didn't mis a single episode of! I hope they do another similar show for this year, as the race is facinating.

They have an on-line store if anyone wants shirts, mugs, etc.

I'm not a scrapbooker/stamper but they have some cool dog-related stuff here: http://www.iditarodstore.com/browse.cfm/2,135.html
