Well, I know some of you have met Honda at the dog park in Findlay and back then, we all thought Honda had cancer. Well I was feeling bad for her having the large lump on the side of her face, so when we took puppy Remy in to get her shots, we took Honda too. It turns out IT IS NOT CANCER!!!! Most likely a cyst. So on Thursday she is getting a dental (which, by the way he said her teeth are great for an old dog Yay), getting the cyst drained in hopes that it won't come back, and getting her hip xrayed and checked out because she's having some problems.

Something with Remy though is that she has a recessed vulva. I knew it looked weird when I got her... but didn't think much of it. He says a lot of pups grow out of it, and if not, a lot live on to have normal lives. The worst that will happen is she gets a lot of urinary tract infections because she's dirty, but he says she's very clean. (He expected to see dirt and urine on the inside of her legs, which there is none at all.) So he says we'll delay spaying her until RIGHT before her first heat because the estrogen helps correct this.

So all in all, I have a healthy puppy and Honda will soon be healthier too.
