    Cash is eating Digi's hair!

I have no idea how to stop this, I hope someone here does.
Cash is eating Digi's hair off the ground. Her hair rolls into little balls on the carpet (it's her ear hair & back leg hair as it's the fluffy soft hair, not her body hair) and hes swallowing it.

How can I get him to stop?
Is he missing something from his diet, so hes eating the hair to make it up?
    Will this make him ill?

    Silly cat

It'll give him more hairballs. I sometimes catch some of my cats eating fur that's fallen onto my carpet. I don't know why they like to eat fur. I just keep some hairball medicine on hand and I try to give them all some of it every week so that they won't end up throwing up hairballs. Good luck.

It's not nutritious - they can't digest it - but it's not bad for them either. He'll just hork it up in hairballs later (which is also normal).

If you opt for hairball medicine, check to see whether it's got petroleum in it. Petroleum itself is harmless, but it can stop a cat from being able to absorb nutrients from his food. A bit of psyllium-seed fiber supplement is safe and reduces hairballs, and doesn't interfere with nutrition.

I'll make sure to not use petroleum! Hes not a fat cat so not getting enough nutrition would be bad for him (any cat for that matter)..

He hasn't had any hair balls yet.. only stress puke... I'm pretty much done moving so no more kitty stress
