My drawing project on Corel Painter Essentials 4. =)

So for Christmas, my parents bought me a Bamboo Wacom Tablet, which I am in love with. In my spare time, I doodle and draw on it when I don't have any homework or anything important to deal with for the classes at OSU..

I am trying a hand at Corel Essentials 4, so I chose a picture of Dozer, Mike's dog, to see how I do. This is my first attempt, of course. This is it so far, I plan on adding more colors when I have time, hopefully tomorrow night or on Wednesday....

What do you think, guys? It's been a WHILE since I've started back to drawing..

You're the one sure thing I've found so you better stick around...

Looks awesome! Never worked with such a program but it looks like fun - well, at least when one has your talent!

    Thanks Kirsten!

I just love this program, it is a blast to play and work on. Definitely a great addition to my future "career" as a illustrator/graphic design artist.

Aw, he looks so CUTE =) Hehe, that's adorable.

Ok, this might sound dumb but what's a Tablet? Is it something you use to draw online, I've heard of it but I never knew what it was. If it's something to draw online I'd LOVE that!

it´s sort of like a paper and pencil thing... only more like monitor digital pen... I guess... but I´m sure someone will give you a better explanation to that

That looks great! Can't wait to see the complete picture.

Alyssa, here is a link to what Rachel has. Like Isabel said, it's like a pen and paper only digital. It is not "too" expensive either. Unless there is more to it.
Our goal in life should be - to be as good a person as our dog thinks we are.

Thank you for the siggy, Michelle!
