    It's Charlie's 3rd Gotcha Day!

    It was 3 years ago today, Dec 10th, when hubby and I went to the shelter (Friends for Life in Gilbert, AZ) to look at kitties. Charlie's name was Calvin at the time, and he loved alllll over hubby. Hubby had been talking about how he wanted a kitty that would love him like Scooter loved me, so having "Calvin" love all over hubby was like a dream come true. We came home with him that day. They said he was 2 1/2 when we adopted him... so that makes him about 5 1/2 now.

    This is how he looked when we brought him home:


    He had only been home about 2 hours at that point. Then he hid under the bed, only coming out for food, water and potty, for about a month...

    I chose this one because he looks so content and relaxed.

    You are my special boy! Despite the constant "Meow, Meow, Meow" I wouldn't trade you for any other kitty.

    Charlie looks so happy! He's beautiful and reminds me so much of my Fuzz, who's gone on to the RB.

    He's terrified of hubby, unless he's sitting down. I think it's cause hubby is 6'4", but whenever hubby walks in, Charlie runs out!
