    Max...doing what he does best

I used the Photobucket Autofix on this one and it turned his face a bit pink.

I purchased that step stool so that he could get up on the bed easier. It scared him silly for the first week or two and refuses to use it for that purpose.

He's found a new purrpose for it.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!

What a sweet face (I KNOW you're a boy, Max!) . I still have some of the fluffy fur that your meowmom sent...not as good as the real thing, but it will have to do. *sigh*

Give that sleepy forehead a little kiss for me, ok?

So nice that you bought Max his new bed. Ok, it's missing some sides but whatever. LOL

Max, you adorable fluffy thing, you! How comfy you look.

When Daisy hurt her leg and was imprisoned in the bedroom, I put a step-stool against the bed to make it easier for her to get up too. She absolutely would not go NEAR it. She danced round about it so much that I had to take it away for fear she was using the leg more, not less.

Oh Max, you're such a sweet fluffball, and I can see you do exactly the same as Fister.... the minut your mom gets out of bed, there you are on her pillow.

LOL about the step stool, but at least you can use it as a little cave - now you just need to convince your mom to put a blanket around the sides.

Fister and I send kisses and purrs, and we hope you enjoy some cuddle time over the weekend!

    awwwwwwwwwwwwwww! too cute!

i got a step like that for chuck (rb) when he couldn't jump up on the bed anymore. he wouldn't use it at first because it was too slippery with his super furry feet (just like max's). so i sewed a ribbon to all four sides of a pillow and tied it to the top. and it still took him a bit to trust it, but after a bit he used it all the time.

Hi Max! You look adorable in all of those pictues!I especially like the one of your sweet widdle pawsies!

My Tabby (20 years old) also has some issues getting up on the bed. For the longest time, I was setting a small stepstool next to the hope chest at the foot of the bed. She easily was able to maneuver that.... but I often needed the stepstool since I am so short! But when I moved into this new place, the daughter of one of my frined's suggested a little decorative desklike thing that I usually had setting in the living room instead so that I could have my stepstool back! It works great.... and even takes less effort for my old girl since there is an additional step from what she had in the past. I will have to take a picture to better illustrate how she gets up on the bed.

RIP sweet Tabitha, my heart kitty. You are loved and missed every day. 1988 - 2010
