I am typing through tears here, but I have to report that our beloved Rook, who was only 1 year old..today would have been her gotcha day..went to RB this morning. Rook was my first snake, a beautiful girl inside and out, she never bit anyone in her life, loved to be handled. when we talked to her she would watch you cocking her head like she was listening. I called her my jewerly because she would winde herself around my wrist and fingers like jewlery and she would just stay there. Rook loved to travel, it didnt stress her at all, in fact I always had to hold her travel container at the window because she always wanted to see where she was going. she was always fun to observes because she was always observing us back. Rook loves kids too, adults she would be iffy about visiting, but when she met a child she would crawl right into their hands. Rook was an amazing snake in every way, we we are devistated at her loss, we sat with her for hours crying and hoping she would come back to life

Rook was definitely one special snake: listening when you talked to her, loving to be handled, it doesn't get much better than that. Take comfort in the fact that you got to get to know such a great creature and you had the privilege to provide her with great care. I will certainly miss seeing her around.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Rook was truly a magnificant animal. What a beautiful little girl she was, and she sounded like she had the personality to match her gorgeous scales. We never seem to put a personality to animals such as snakes, but all creatures have a soul and all souls have a purpose. I'm so glad Rook was in a home where she could be appreiated and noticed for her uniqueness and inner beauty. Rest in peace, little Rook. You were a very special little soul.
